The standard curtain headers we offer in our range are below , however if you require something different just let us know.

Pencil Pleat

Pencil pleat is a traditional heading for curtains and valances . The pleat can be as deep or shallow as you wish to best suit the proportions of the window. A boarder can be added to this design to offer a more decorative finish on the leading or trailing edge.

Double or triple pinch pleat

A decorative and more formal heading style. Both have a stiffener sewn into the heading and each pleat is 10 cm long from the top of the curtain to the base of the pleat.
Double pleats are slightly less formal and comprise of two pleats grouped and sewn together. Great if your draw back space is limited. Folds hang in orderly folds.
Triple Pleats are more traditional and made up of three pleats grouped and sewn together. This style best suits floor length curtains as it encourages them to hang in orderly folds.

Goblet

An impressive formal pleat that adds elegance to the room, using a stiffener which is sewn into the header of the curtain and pleated to display a goblet ( top of the wine glass ) effect. This style particulary suits

Cottage pleat / Ruffle top

This style is a simple and informal heading , suitable for all rooms.
A ruffled style heading using a 1inch tape which is placed below the top of the curtain to give a pretty gathered effect. This style is very simple but effective.

Slotted

This style header has a small sleeve sewn on the top of the curtain , through which a pole is slotted. This is an informal but stylish window dressing and is most suted to curtains that are stationary.

Eyelet

This style of curtain uses metal eyelets , punched into the curtain which is then threaded through a curtain pole, to create a smart, contemporary curtain which neatly concertinas together when draw back.

We can also add additional finishing touches to your curtains such as a contrasting leading edge , braids and tassels which we will be happy to advice you on.
